Dale Mitchell joined SCC as Vice President of Lending in August 2007.  In this role, Dale is responsible for the overall administration of loan programs and lending personnel for all of SCCs geographic specific loan funds, including the state-wide Purchase Order program. In addition, he implements, prepares, and reviews management information reports and markets SCC's loan programs to the financial community and other organizations.  

Dale has 17 years experience in the financial services industry including retail branch management, performance improvement consulting as well as various lending and underwriting positions.  Most recently Dale, was a Vice President of Commercial Lending and Community Development Manager at PrimeTrust Bank, one of the country's fastest growing community banks and one of the 10 largest banking organizations headquartered in Tennessee.  Among his achievements, Dale managed a personal portfolio of more than $30 million and maintained delinquency at less than 1%.  Additionally, the CRA action plan he crafted and the strategies developed helped the bank achieve a "Satisfactory" rating on its first examination under newly created federal guidelines for "Intermediate-Small Banks." 

Dale holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and is also a graduate of the Southeastern School of Banking.  Additionally, Dale has successfully completed the American Bankers Association School of Commercial Lending as well as the Southeastern Schools of Commercial Lending and Advanced Commercial Lending.
