Joining the founding team at Pinnacle Financial Partners, Inc. in 2000, Mr. Queener serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer.  In this role he has oversight responsibilities for all operations and technology, consumer lending functions (specifically mortgage lending and the centralization of branch based consumer underwriting), credit support activities and is the company's Enterprise Wide Risk Management Committee Chair.  He also serves as Chair for Operations and Automation Steering Committee and as Secretary to the Board of Directors.

From 1987 to 2000, Mr. Queener was employed by First American National Bank based in Nashville, and held various operations and management positions during his 13 years with the Bank.  Most recently, he was Executive Vice President of Retail Lending Group, a position he held for 4 years following 3 years as Executive Vice President of Consumer Programs. In this role he was responsible for the underwriting, servicing, collections and recovery of all consumer and small business loans.  He was responsible for consumer specialty loan sales, which included the auto finance (indirect lending), mortgage lending, student lending, credit card and debit card programs.  Mr. Queener had overall responsibility for ensuring proper compliance in all of these consumer lending areas with special focus on CRA and Fair Lending requirements.  In this role he oversaw 7.8 billion in bank loans as well as a 5.5 billion servicing portfolio of mortgage loans, loan production of over 2 billion dollars annually (in the specialty businesses), and 550 people.

In his prior role as EVP of Consumer Programs Mr. Queener had additional functional responsibilities for the administrative oversight of all branch-based selling activities, branch support functions and the Telephone Customer Service Center.  Mr. Queener was instrumental in building our Telephone Center into a 7 day 24 hour center growing from 40 CSR's to over 200 CSR's with extensive part time utilization.

Since moving to Nashville, Mr. Queener has been involved in the Brentwood Rotary Club as a member, the Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity as a Finance Committee Member, the YMCA as a program coordinator, the Boy Scouts of American as a Cub Master and Troop leader and on the Executive Board of the Middle Tennessee Council.  Mr. Queener is also a member of the Brentwood United Methodist Church serving in various leadership roles for the past 15 years.  He has also served on the Board of Trustees for Hiwassee College in Madisonville, Tennessee.

Mr. Queener is a native Tennessean, born in Jellico, and educated in Madisonville and Athens, where he received his BS in Business Administration from Tennessee Wesleyan College in 1977.  Following graduation, Mr. Queener joined Park National Bank in Knoxville and worked in the Audit and Operations Support area of the Bank until 1981.  At that time, he joined The Kirchman Corporation of Orlando, Florida, and served in various roles as Senior Vice President in the Customer Service, Installations, Software Development and Support areas from 1981 to 1987.
